Privacy Policy
Effective: June 24, 2026
Scrolln ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we do — and don't — collect.
Information we do not collect
Scrolln does not have user accounts, does not require sign-up, and does not transmit your usage data, pause history, danger zone schedule, habit selections, or community posts to any server. All of this information is stored locally on your device.
Information processed by third parties
Apple & Google: Subscription purchases and renewals are processed by Apple (on iOS) or Google Play (on Android). We receive an anonymous subscription status (active / inactive) so we can unlock or lock app features. We do not receive your name, email, payment details, Apple ID, or Google account.
RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage subscription state. RevenueCat receives an anonymous user identifier generated on your device (Apple's IDFV on iOS, or the Android advertising/app-set identifier on Android) along with subscription transaction information. RevenueCat's privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy.
Notifications
If you grant notification permission, Scrolln schedules local notifications at the danger zone times you choose. These are generated entirely on your device.
How to delete your data
Because Scrolln stores your data locally on your device and does not use accounts, you are in full control of it:
Delete all in-app data: Open Scrolln → Settings → Delete Account, or simply uninstall (delete) the app from your device. You can also clear the app's storage in your device settings (Android: Settings → Apps → Scrolln → Storage → Clear data). Any of these permanently and immediately removes your pauses, streaks, danger zone schedule, habit selections, and locally stored posts. We keep no server copy of this data.
Delete subscription data: To request deletion of the anonymous subscription records held by RevenueCat, email us at warnockrob@yahoo.com with the subject "Data deletion request". We will process your request within 30 days. Note that purchase and billing records held by Apple or Google are governed by their own policies and must be requested through them.
Children
Scrolln is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the effective date above.
